Rope constructions company “Rope” was established in 1919 as a reconstructor of Steel wire ropes for the Mining Industry in South Africa. Since 1963 it has been owner managed by the Stockl family and over the years has expanded into various markets including the manufacturing, rigging, agriculture, shipping, utilities, civil and heavy industrial industry sectors supplying new steel wire rope, rigging gear and anchoring products. All Rope’s products are sourced from only the best manufacturers worldwide or manufactured by itself to exacting standards. Rope operates branches in Johannesburg and Cape Town all of which offer manufacturing and testing facilities and are well stocked for your convenience. Rope has built its reputation founded on willing service, friendship and reliable products.

This tradition is entrenched into Rope’s ethos and as such we are proud of the 90 year old role Rope has played in shaping the Southern African Steel wire rope and lifting Industries.”
